Tips For Online Shopping Securely

You can buy just about anything you want or need online. But are you shopping from home safely? There are people out there that will go to great lengths to steal your money and identity via cyber fraud and hacking. You don’t need to stop shopping online. What you do need to do is be smart about how you shop online and be cautious about which websites you go to purchase anything. Here are some tips to make sure you’re shopping online the right way.

First, make sure you’re shopping on a secure website. If you make a purchase on an unsecured website, you credit card information most likely will not be encrypted and hackers can get to it. How do you know if the site you’re on is secure? One way to tell is by looking at the URL. If the checkout page begins with https://, the “s” means it is a secure site. Furthermore, look for a closed padlock icon or a solid key icon in your browser as they too mean the site you’re on is secure.

Second, use a credit card. You can dispute charges on a credit card and withhold payment if something goes wrong with your order. The same cannot be done with PayPal, a debit card, a check, or a money order.

Third, disclose only facts that are necessary to your purchase. Many sites will require you to give information to verify your identity when it comes time to charge your credit card. This should not include things like a bank account routing number or your social security number. Do not give out sensitive information that is not pertinent to your purchase. Many sites will have an asterisk (*) next to fields that are required for you to fill out. Feel free to leave unnecessary fields blank.

Fourth, do not fall for e-mail scams. If a company sends you an e-mail saying something went wrong and your information needs to be updated, they will always ask you to go to the website and do it. Never give any sensitive information at all to a company via e-mail as it is most likely a scam.

Fifth, shop with companies located in the United States. The same privacy laws may not apply in other countries and you may be out of luck if something goes wrong with your order.

Hopefully these online shopping tips will help you as you search for the best buys and make online purchases this holiday season. Be smart and stay safe.

How to Incorporate Protein Into Your Eating Lifestyle

Protein is the main building block of muscles, organs, and glands. Incorporating it into your diet helps to feed and maintain your muscles as wells as help your body repair cells and make new ones. That being said, there is no doubt that it plays a vital role in your eating lifestyle. But sometimes you can get “fed up” with its consumption. One more bite of chicken breast and you might just start sqauwking!

Fortunately, the existence of protein supplements provides an easy, fast, and delicious way to contribute to your daily requirements.

Here are three tips to help you incorporate protein into your eating lifestyle:

Tip #1: Whey to the Rescue: Whey is the purest form of protein. It is derived from milk and separated during the cheese making process. Whey powder comes in all flavors including the all time favorites, chocolate and vanilla. It is a lifesaver when it comes to breakfast. You can choose to blend a whey shake with ice and water or incorporate the whey powder directly into your breakfast option. I’m known for mixing a scoop of whey powder directly into my cooked oatmeal or dry cereal. One scoop of my whey powder provides me with 23 grams of protein. I also love ready-to-drink whey shakes because my mornings are usually hectic.

Tip #2: Grab a Shake: A high-protein, low-carb meal replacement shake is a great way to contribute to the fulfillment of your protein requirement. I usually opt for a shake after my intense morning workout which refuels and recharges me.

Tip #3: Pack a Bar: A protein bar is another great way to pack in your protein. If I’m short on time I’ll opt for a bar instead of a shake, especially if I’m on the run. They are so convenient. You can just throw them in your gym bag or purse for their impending consumption. I also utilize bars as an afternoon snack. Make sure the bar you choose is low in sugar, carbs, and sodium!

Grading Quality Of Engagement Ring Cut

The engagement ring cut can be spoken of in two ways. In the first way, the cut of an engagement ring is used to describe the shape of the gemstone set in the ring (for example, a “cushion cut” sapphire). In the second way, an engagement ring cut is used to describe the light-reflective qualities of the gemstone set in the ring. These light-reflective qualities are determined by how well the gemstone was fashioned into jewellery piece from its rough form when it came out of the earth.

The light reflective qualities are graded on a scale by expert gemmologists because they drastically affect how a gemstone looks. This article details the different grades that gems are given with regards engagement ring cut. Before purchasing a jewellery piece, it is wise to understand the various grades so that you may make the best selection. Choose the grade of your stone based on personal preference as well as on your budget.

Ideal Cut

Ideal cut gemstones maximize brilliance and the typically smaller size has the added advantage of creating a great deal of dispersion or ‘fire’ as well. Ideal quality jewels are for the person who enjoys knowing that he has one of the finest jewellery pieces that money can buy.

Excellent

Stones in the excellent engagement ring cut bracket also provide maximum brilliance and fire. Like the Ideal grade, they are also for the person who enjoys knowing that he has one of the finest charms that money can buy.

Very Good

These gems reflect most of the light that enters them, creating a sizable amount of brilliance. Cutters have chosen to deviate slightly from the preferred ideal proportions in order to create a larger size jewel. The result is a larger stone but one that falls slightly outside of some customers’ preferences for light reflective qualities. Generally, their price is slightly below any gem with the grade of excellent.

Good

A good gemstone reflects most of the light that enters it. Its proportions fall outside of the preferred range because the cutter has chosen to create the largest possible stone from the original rough crystal, rather than cutting extra weight off to create a smaller one of higher quality. Customers considering an engagement ring cut, but who want to stick to a budget without sacrificing much quality should shop in this grade.

Fair and Poor

Fair or poor jewels reflect only a small proportion of the light that enters them. Typically these they have been fashioned to maximize carat weight over most other considerations.

Modern Black Hair Styles – How to Choose the Right One For You

No matter whether or not whether your favorite black hair style is braided, curly, locks, sleek and straight, short and funky or twisted and intricate, there are a few things that you should consider before deciding on what to choose for your next do.

Due to the versatility of black hairstyles and black hair in general, ethnic hair styles include some of the most intricate and beautiful hair creations to be found among fashion-conscious people today. While many compete to make their hairstyle more elaborate and beautiful than the next, many fail to observe basic styling fundamentals, which are vital to ensure that a black hair style compliments the wearer rather than detracts from his or her personal beauty.

Black hair style fundamentals

When choosing the right black hair style for you, it is important to pay special attention to your facial features and bone structure. The correct style can take the most beautiful facial features you have and make them absolutely stunning. The wrong style, on the other hand, can completely mask those features and may even highlight features you would rather hide.

When choosing the perfect style for your unique look, stylists should take into account your build. For example, close cropped hairstyles would not suit a person with a large frame, nor would a full-bodied hairstyle compliment a person with a small frame. Making sure that your style and frame balance is the key here.

Stylists also should look at your face shape when choosing the best black hair style for you. There are five basic face shapes: oval, heart, round, square and triangular. All of these shapes can be beautiful, but one is ideal: oval. No matter what shaped face you have, achieving the perfect look involves picking the right hairstyle that will make your face appear more oval.

Oval face shapes are identified by the perfect symmetry of certain facial features, such as the distance from the hairline to the bridge of the nose (between the eyes), from the bridge of the nose to the lips, and from the lips to the bottom of the chin. If your face is oval shaped, you will have a host of options when it comes to choosing your style. This shape is the only one that is complimented by almost every black hair style imaginable. The oval shape is perfect for corn rows, braids and all other popular black hair styles.

Heart shaped faces are usually broader through the forehead and taper to a point at the chin. You can make this shaped face appear more oval by positioning the weight of the hair at chin level, or by wearing bangs in shorter black hair styles. Keep in mind that the goal is to minimize the forehead and to bring prominence to the chin.

Round faces are just that: round. They have wide cheekbones and are usually smaller through the forehead and chin. The goal here is to minimize the cheekbones. Black hair styles with height in the bang and sides cut toward the face usually work best.

Square faces have a bold forehead and an angular jaw line. Hairstyles with soft edges, and a great deal of texture directed toward the face really suit this shape. The length should be kept longer than jaw length to draw attention away from the jaw, but, at the same time, that length should be layered. A straight, sleek hairstyle would only serve to accent the angular lines of the face.

Triangular shaped faces are angular at the jaw line, but narrow through the forehead. They can be treated much the same way that square faces are treated, with one exception; more height and fullness is needed throughout the crown and bang areas of the black hair style to make this section of the face appear larger.

Now that you know what types of black hair styles to choose to make you look your best, the only limits are your imagination and your stylist’s creativity.
